These terms govern your use of MySaleGen, operated by Sage Analytix ("we", "us"). By signing up or signing in, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.
1. What we provide
MySaleGen is an offline-first point-of-sale and inventory web application for small retail businesses. It lets you record sales, manage stock, issue receipts, process returns, log expenses, and view analytics. Synchronization between devices happens through our cloud servers.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to open an account.
- The information you provide at signup must be accurate and current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any staff credentials secure. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- Owners are responsible for what their staff accounts do. Manage roles carefully — Owner and Manager roles can read sensitive data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use MySaleGen for anything illegal under Nigerian law.
- Resell, sublicense, or rent the service to third parties without our written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract proprietary code or data from the platform.
- Submit data you don't have the right to submit (other people's customer lists, copyrighted material, etc.).
- Use the service to harass, defraud, or harm anyone — including your customers.
- Run automated load against the platform or interfere with our infrastructure.
4. Subscription and billing
- MySaleGen is sold on a subscription basis. Pricing and seat counts are shown during signup and in your billing dashboard.
- A valid card is required at signup. Your 14-day free trial begins the day you sign up. We'll charge your card for the first period at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.
- All charges are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) by Paystack. International cards are accepted at the rate your bank applies.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period (monthly or annual, depending on your plan) until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
5. No refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable. The 14-day free trial is your evaluation window — if MySaleGen isn't a fit, cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. Once a period is paid, we do not refund unused time, even if you cancel mid-period.
We may make exceptions at our sole discretion when we charge you in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, etc.). See the Refund Policy for details.
6. Termination
- You may close your account at any time. Your store data is retained for 90 days after closure in case you reopen.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or expose us to legal risk. We'll notify you when reasonably possible.
- On termination, sync to the cloud stops. Existing offline data on your devices remains on those devices.
7. Service availability
MySaleGen is offline-first by design — the POS keeps working on your devices even when our cloud is unreachable. We make a best effort to keep the cloud sync, dashboard, and billing systems available, but we do not commit to a specific uptime number. We may take short maintenance windows without prior notice.
8. Your data, our platform
- You own your store data — products, sales, customers, financial records. You can export it at any time from the dashboard or by asking us.
- We own the platform — the application code, design, brand, documentation, and infrastructure are our intellectual property.
- You grant us a limited license to process your data only as needed to provide the service — store it, sync it between your devices, run analytics for you, and back it up.
9. Disclaimers
MySaleGen is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be error-free, that all features will work at all times, or that it fits a specific business need. You are responsible for verifying that your sales, stock, and tax records are correct.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to MySaleGen is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were warned of the possibility.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will first be addressed by good-faith discussion. If that fails, the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When changes are material, we'll email account owners and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use MySaleGen after a change means you accept the new version. If you don't accept, cancel your account.
